Building and demolition waste

General

Building and demolition waste is waste produced during construction, renovation or demolition, such as clean soil, plastic, stone, wood or sand. Construction and demolition waste can be dropped off at the waste recycling centre free of charge. Or the waste can be collected for a fee. Put building and demolition waste in a BigBag for collection by the municipality. The BigBag costs € 68.20.

Building and demolition waste can be dropped off at the waste recycling centre free of charge.

Collection

If you cannot take it to the waste recycling centre, arrange for collection of construction and demolition waste. Only construction and demolition waste in a BigBag will be collected. To have your waste collected, make an appointment.

Due to other collections, the day you have selected may already be full. Please select a different day.

Costs

Building and demolition waste can be dropped off at the waste recycling centre free of charge.

The BigBag costs € 68.20. The BigBag can be purchased from the Waste recycling centre and from the Waste Service desk (Slingerweg 9: Monday to Friday, 8.00 to 16.00 hours. Closed on public holidays.). You are only able to pay using PIN.

You can hand in an unused BigBag at the Waste Service desk. You will get your money back.

Rules for putting waste out for collection

  • You may put a maximum of 1 m3 in a BigBag from Breda Council.
  • Put the BigBag on the edge of the pavement in front of your property where the crane truck can reach it.
  • Only waste in a BigBag will be collected. Waste does not protrude and remains under the edge. Make large pieces small.

Collection starts at 6:00 hours. You can put waste out from 21:00 hours the evening before. To prevent additional waste being added to your waste, it is better to put it outside in the morning.

Only building and demolition waste that has been put out for collection correctly will be picked up.
