Asterdplas

The Asterdplas is a natural lake in the northeast of Breda, which is open to the public for recreational activities, including swimming. No lifeguards are on duty here. Parking is free throughout the year.

Rules in relation to recreation

  • No dogs or horses are permitted during the recreation season. Out of season, dogs must be kept on a lead.
  • Barbecues and open fires are not permitted.
  • Camping and sleeping at the lake overnight are not permitted. 
  • Motorised watercraft are not permitted.
  • Diving is only permitted with a marker buoy.
