Obtaining Dutch nationality
General
You can request Dutch citizenship at the council, either by option or through naturalisation, but only if you are registered with Breda council. If you want to apply for Dutch citizenship, arrange an appointment beforehand.
What you need to know

- during your appointment we assess whether you meet the conditions and we will tell you what steps to take.
You will need the following
- valid residence permit and/or valid passport
- debit or credit card
Charges
When you submit your application, you pay a fee. This fee is not refunded if your application is unsuccessful.
