Commercial waste
General
You can enter into a contract with the council for the collection of small commercial waste. That applies to offices, shops, small businesses and non-profit organisations.
Commercial waste disposal pass
If you are the owner of a property with room rentals or if you have a business, you can apply for (additional) waste passes. You can arrange a contract for this in consultation with Afvalservice Bedrijven.
Commercial waste in and around the city centre
Businesses with a waste processing contract are allowed to dispose of commercial waste. For commercial waste in and around the city centre, a separate refuse truck follows specific routes at fixed times for businesses for the separate collection of:
- paper and cardboard
- plastic packaging, tin and drink cartons
- non-recyclable waste
No dropping off at a Waste recycling centre

Accepting business waste at recycling centres is not a legal duty of the municipality. Businesses are responsible for disposing of their own waste streams and are also required to separate waste. Other parties can perform this task. You can contact:
It remains possible to have business waste collected by appointment. You can apply for a contract with Afvalservice Bedrijven.
